    Charlie McCoyチャーリー・マッコイ

    ジャクソン・ブルース・シーンの職人ギタリスト／マンドリン奏者。その流麗で繊細なギター・プレイは引く手数多で、トミー・ジョンソンやイシュマン・ブレイリー、ジョニー・テンプルのバックで数々の名演を聴かせた。
    20年代後半から30年代初頭にかけて自身の録音も残しており、ジャクソン・ブルース・スタイルも聴かせるが、ホウカム調やダンス・ナンバーなどエンターテインメント性の濃いものが多い。歌の線の細さは否めないが、ボトルネック・ギターやマンドリンの妙技が堪能できるだろう。
    30年代後半にはシカゴに移住し、ハーレム・ハムファッツのメンバーとして活動した。
