    ニューヨークのメタル・ゴッド、ブルータル・トゥルースはこの上なく暴力的なサウンドを創りだし、リスナーの限界に挑んだ。あたかもスナッフ・フィルムや残虐なコンピューター・ゲームの為に作られたような音楽は、乱暴でまさにブルータル（残忍）。反資本主義、反人種差別主義、反宗教主義など、マリファナ以外のものに対して常に反対姿勢をキープ、このニヒリスティックで反抗的な精神を音楽の原動力に。リード・ボーカル、ケヴィン・シャープは言葉で破滅を招こうと、まるで火が点いたように激しく歌う。そしてグラインドコアのメタル的な要素を排除したサウンドは、さらにインダストリアルの傾向を強めた。これによって突然変異したサウンドは、速くてノイジーでありながら、スピードに頼らずグルーヴ感を保った。しかしグループは98年に解散した。
