    MR.ダルヴィンとデヴァンテ（２人は兄弟で主にサウンドプロダクションを手掛ける）、ジョジョとK-Ciヘイリー（２人も兄弟で主にヴォーカルを担当）の４人で結成されたジョデシーは、91年の『フォーエヴァー・マイ・レイディ』でデビューを果たす。
    教会の聖歌隊で培われた力強いヴォーカル・ワークは、まるで体中の毛穴から蜜が溢れ出てくるような濃厚な甘さを秘め、それは美メロ感の強いトラックと相まってリスナーの魂を揺さぶった。また、女性に対する熱い、熱〜い思いの丈を託したクリアなハーモニーとは一見対極をなすような、彼らの鍛え上げられた肉体美は充分に沸点に達し、熱のこもった楽曲の雰囲気を一層盛り上げる。
