    ドゥワーヴスは83年に結成され、パンクの伝説的バンドとなる可能性を秘めている。彼らは獰猛なガレージ・パンクとチープなスタイルだけで注目されている訳ではない。ギタリストの死をでっち上げ、常に卑猥でショッキングな歌詞を作り、奇妙なレザー・ファッションに執着するなど、バンドの悪ふざけも目立つ。比較的おとなしい日のライブでも、過激なステージが繰り広げられるそうだ（オンステージで人体切断を行なうという噂は大げさだが）。注意を引くためにやっているとしても、決して退屈ではない事は確かだ。
