    元オペレーション・アイビー（現ランシド）のティム・アームストロングとマット・フリーマンが始めたスカ・パンク・バンドがこのダンス・ホール・クラッシャーズだ。といっても、２人はランシド結成のためすぐに脱退。以降はエリース・ロジャース（vo）とジェイソン・ハモン（g）が中心となり活動を続けている。
