    60年代に一世を風靡したアイドル。金髪にキュートな笑顔、小柄な体はまるで子猫のようで、当時の男どもを秒殺したことは想像に難くない。
    もともとはTVドラマ『ハワイアン・アイ』のヒロイン役で人気者になった彼女だが、ブレイクとともに歌手デビューの話が舞い込み、60年に「Sixteen Reasons」をリリース。キャラクター通りの可愛らしくもセクシーな歌声で、ガール・ポップ・シンガーとしても成功する。その後も女優活動の合間を縫って、「A Little Kiss Is A Kiss」「Mr. Songwriter」などのヒットを放った。
