    ザ・コーラルを世に送り出したレーベル＜デルタソニック＞が04年にデビューさせた謎のゾンビ５人組。メンバーは全員リバプール出身。カッコはゾンビ（？）なのに、奏でる音楽は50年代〜60年代のロック、ソウル、サイケデリックから80年代のニュー・ウェイヴ、90年代のブリット・ポップやマッドチェスター・ムーブメントまで呑み込んでまさにごった煮状態。この何でもアリなサウンドをまとめあげるセンスがいいのか、はたまた紅一点・アビ（美人！）のサックスが効いているのか、彼らの生み出す音楽はオシャレでエキサイティングかつスリリング。一度聴いたら病みつきになる中毒性を持っている。デビュー・アルバム『誰がザ・ズートンズを殺ったのか？』は新人としては破格の全英チャート初登場13位を記録、日本でもあっという間に音楽ファンの根強い支持を獲得した。メンバーのファッション・センスやジャケット・ワークにも注目が集まっており、ザ・コーラル、ザ・バンディッツといったリバプール出身のアーティストの中でも異彩を放つ存在と言えるだろう。
