    ロンドン出身のホテル（dr&g&vo）とフロリダ出身のヴィヴィ（vo&g）による男女ユニット、ザ・キルズ。
    ティーンエイジャーの時にパンク・バンドの一員として活動していたヴィヴィがロンドンでホテルに出会い、バンド解散後、往復書簡を交わしながら曲作りを行う。ヴィヴィのロンドン移住と同時に本格的な活動を開始。02年にはアメリカ及びイギリス・ツアーを敢行し、プライマル・スクリームやジョン・スペンサー・ブルース・エクスプロージョンのサポートも務める。
    ブリティッシュ・ロックを彷彿とさせるブルージーなサウンドでありながら、ヴィヴィッドな艶も感じさせるそのスタイルが注目を集め、NME誌やローリングストーン誌でも高い評価を得る。03年５月、１stアルバム『KEEP ON YOUR MEAN SIDE』を発表。
