カルチャー・クラブ、19年ぶりにニュ
ー・アルバムをリリース。新曲を公開

カルチャー・クラブが、この秋、1999年リリースの『Don’t Mind If I Do』以来となるニュー・アルバム『Life』を発表することを明かした。1982年に『Kissing To Be Clever』でデビューしてから6枚目のスタジオ・アルバムとなる。ボーイ・ジョージ＆カルチャー・クラブ名義で発表されるようだ。

火曜日（7月31日）、ニュー・アルバムの告知とともに、新曲「Let Somebody Love You」が公開された。同曲はFuture Cutがプロデュースし、レゲエ・ポップの夏らしいサウンドとなった。彼らの新曲は2014年にデジタル・リリースされた「More Than Silence」以来。ボーイ・ジョージはその前からカルチャー・クラブのニュー・アルバムを制作すると話していたが、ようやく実現した。

『Life』は、「God & Love」「Bad Blood」「Human Zoo」「Let Somebody Love You」「What Does Sorry Mean」「Runaway Train」「Resting Bitch Face」「Different Man」「Oil & Water」「More Than Silence」「Life」の11曲を収録し、10月26日にリリースされる。

カルチャー・クラブは現在、北米ツアー中。ニュー・アルバム発表後はUK／ヨーロッパ・ツアーを開催する。
