    The Fleshtonesザ・フレッシュトーンズ

    ニューヨーク市クイーンズ出身のフレッシュトーンズは、ファルフィサ・オルガンをふんだんに取り入れた60年代のガレージ・ロックを自宅のガレージで再生し、その後世界へと進出したバンドだ。初期のヒット曲「アメリカン・ビート」では、彼らの作品に一貫して聴かれるレトロなサウンドを存分に堪能することができる。世界におけるガレージ・ロックの首都クイーンズから同じく登場したラモーンズのように、フレッシュトーンズもまたヒッピー時代前のフックの効いたロックの魅力をアピールしたのだ。
