    いまや伝説と化している、ワーム！とドリームワールドという２つのレーベルを主宰していたダン・トレイシーの実質的ソロ・ユニット。結成時にはエドワード・ボール（ザ・タイムス）も在籍していた。アラン・マッギーがワーム！を手本にクリエーション・レーベルを設立したり、さらにはパステルズやニルヴァーナに音楽的影響を与えたりと、トレイシーのインディー・シーンにおけるカリスマ性は偉大である。清涼感あふれるクリアーなサウンドは、ギター・ポップの醍醐味を十二分に発揮。またそれだけにとどまらず、ポスト・パンク的な実験性をもったストレンジな楽曲は、後生のインディー・ポップ・バンドがアヴァンギャルドに接近する布石にもなった。
