    兄ダン（g&or）と弟リッチー（dr）のベイカー兄弟と、悪友クリス・ペドラー（g&b）からなる３ピース・インスト・ファンク・バンド。７インチ・シングルのリリースを重ね、03年に発表した１stアルバム『テン・ペイシス』のガッツ溢れるブチ切れハイパー・ジャズ・ファンク・サウンドで全国のジャズ・ファンク・ファンの度肝を抜く。英国発バンドならではのモッズ／パンクのテイストを感じさせるそのサウンドに、新世代のジャズ・ファンク・リスナーはわしづかみにされた。06年には、ウエスト・ロンドン〜ブロークン・ビーツ・シーンの中心的存在であるヴァネッサ・フリーマンをゲスト・ヴォーカルに迎えた２ndアルバム『ベイカーズ・ダズン』をリリース。デビュー作での“無鉄砲”感を残しつつ、ソウルの要素を取り入れるなど、サウンドの幅と奥行きをググっと広げている。
