Sunset Rubdownサンセット・ラブダウン
モデスト・マウスやアーケード・ファイアをも虜にしたカナダ・モントリオール出身のバンド、ウルフ・パレード。その中心人物であるスペンサー・クルグ率いる新バンドがこのサンセット・ラブダウンだ。キーボードとラップトップを軸にディストーションとリヴァーヴを使い倒したローファイ・サウンドは、崩壊ギリギリの奇妙な美しさを湛えている。ニュー・ウェーヴやグラム・ロックなどを咀嚼した、狂気の幻想ポップス。活況に沸くカナダのインディー・シーンから、またしても新たな逸材が登場した。
