    下品かつセクシュアルなリリックを、グラムやスクラッチー・パンク、そしてローリング・ストーンズのそれのようなヴィンテージ・ロック・サウンド上で展開する。それがルイXIVだ。メンバーは、Jason Hill（vo&g）、Brian Karscig（vo&g）、Mark Maigaard（dr）、Jimmy Armbrust（b）の４人。作品としては05年にEP『イリーガル・テンダー』を、同年にはデビュー・フル・アルバム『ベスト・リトル・シークレッツ・アー・ケプト』を発表、素晴らしい音楽性で聴くものを虜にした。“ルイXIV中毒患者”は日々すごい勢いで増殖中だという……。
