    ハンガリーのジプシー・ヴァイオリンの名門、ラカトシュ家に生まれ、親族の楽団で演奏するかたわら、ブダペスト音楽院でクラシックの奏法やレパートリーも学んでいる彼だからこそ、この素晴らしい名人芸が可能になるのだろう。 メニューインやムター、レーピンをはじめとする多くの世界的ヴァイオリニストたちが彼の演奏に驚嘆し、賛辞を惜しまないことでも、その実力は明らかだ。
