    Junior Tuckerジュニア・タッカー

    音楽一家に生まれたタッカーは、生まれながらの才能に恵まれ、プロ・ミュージシャンとしてデビューを果たしたのは、まだほんの10歳の時だった。
    76年にチナ・スミスとレコーディングした「Sideshow」がヒット。78年には12歳で『ワン・ラブ・ピース・コンサート』に出演し、「Happy」「Mr.Melody」の他、ジャクソンズのカヴァー「Enjoy Yourself」を熱唱した。80年にはプロデューサー、トミー・コーエンとともに制作した「Some Guys Have All The Luck」が大ヒットを記録。しかし、突如音楽活動を休止する。ようやく80年代後半になって、ハンデル・タッカー、アースキン・トンプソンらと組んで「Don't Test」をリリース。91年には、スティーリー＆クリーヴィーのプロデュースで、カーティス・メイフィールドのカヴァー「You Don't Care」を録音し、93年に念願のNo.１ヒット「Love Of A Lifetime」をリリースした。
    90年代半ばには、リッチー・スティーブンス、パパ・サン、ジェネラル・ディグリー、ビーニー・マンら人気シンガー＆DJらと次々に共演。94年リリースの「Born To Love You」も、そこそこのヒットを記録した。
