    Cisco Houstonシスコ・ヒューストン

    シスコ・ヒューストンが歌ったフォーク・ソングはその後アメリカの労働者や農民のアンセムとなった。また彼の歌は50年代後半から60年代初めに世の中を変えようと政治運動を行った若者たちによるフォーク・ソングのリヴァイヴァルで再び注目されることとなる。昔からのスタンダードと自作の歌を歌った作品のほかに、ヒューストンはウディ・ガスリーのFolkways label時代の作品にもバック・コーラスとして参加していることでもよく知られている。
