    ブラック・ムーンを筆頭に、ヘルター・スケルター／O.G.C.／ココア・ブラヴァズらが名を連ねるハーコー・ルーズ・コレクティヴ＝ブート・キャンプ・クリックは、97年に１stアルバム『フォー・ザ・ピープル』を、02年には２nd『チョーズン・フュー』を発表。濃厚な個性派MCたちが集結した大所帯クルーでありながらも、作品に（ハーコー一辺倒的な）仰々しさや暑苦しさはあまり感じられず、むしろ受ける印象はスマートだ。かといって、決して手を抜いているわけではなく、ラッパー各々が極限まで個性を発揮しつつも、巧みにメンバー間の個性の住み分けができているのである。そしてサウンドは、彼ららしい不穏で陰鬱なムードのものが中心。一派の魅力が存分に楽しめる、お得な内容の作品群だ。
