カート・コバーン関連のアイテムを展
示していた博物館で火災
ニルヴァーナのフロントマン、故カート・コバーンにまつわるアイテムを展示していた、彼の故郷、米ワシントン州アバディーンにある博物館Aberdeen Museum Of Historyで土曜日朝（6月9日）、火災が発生した。
幸い、建物の中には誰もおらず、怪我人は出ていないという。火事の原因はまだ明らかにされていない。
同博物館では、アバディーンの歴史をたどる貴重な品々を公開／保管していた。中でも人気で、世界中から観に訪れる人々がいたというカート・コバーンのコーナーでは、80年代半ば、友人宅でカートが寝ていたソファ、シアトル在住時、家の前にあったベンチ、ポスター、アートワークなどが展示されていたそうだ。
ジャーナリストのRyland Spencerさんは「悲しいニュースだ」と、昨年、同博物館を訪れたときに撮影したというカート関連のアイテムの写真をTwitterに投稿している。
