    偉大なるラップ・クラシック「TOP BILLIN」を残したヒップホップ・グループ、AUDIO TWO。彼らは２nd『I DON'T CARE』（90年）以降、消息を絶っていたが、メンバーであるミルクがミニ・アルバム『NEVER DATED』（94年）を引っさげ、ソロとして復活!!　相変わらずのハイ・トーン・ラップで、往年のファンを喜ばせた。ただ、以前は楽しげな雰囲気のサウンドを聴かせたが、ここではロウな質感の逞しいビートにギターやホーンのサンプルが暴れまわるハードなサウンドを繰り広げている。結果的には、そういった音がミルクのラップを煽る形となり、グルーヴィなチューンを創出せしめたのだ。また、AUDIO TWOの作品から、自らのヴォイス・サンプルを抜き出して随所で絡める"俺イズム"的なスタンスも要チェック。
