    Ulrich Schnaussウルリッヒ・シュナウス

    95年頃から音楽活動をスタートさせた宅録系エレクロトニカ・アーティスト。01年にリリースした１ｓｔ『Far Away Trains Passing By』はエレクトロニカの名盤といわれ今後クラシックとなりそうなほど高い評価を得ている。
    テクノ／エレクトロニカに分類されるが、その楽曲はノイジーかつメロウで繊細な音世界、メランコリックで急激な展開はMy Bloody Valentine、Slowdive直系のシューゲイザーといったところ。
    03年に『A Strangely Isolated Place』をリリースし、しばらくはリリースよりもライヴに力をいれて活動する。
    07年３ｒｄ『Goodbye』をリリース。これには彼がキーボードで参加している英マンチェスターのバンドLongview（ロングヴュー）のRob McVeyも参加している。
    08年には日本のフェス『TAICO CLUB』でヘッドライナーをつとめ、09年４月に再来日を果たしている。
