    ガレージ・クラシック「I Had Too Much to Dream Last Night（今夜は眠れない）」で有名なカリフォルニア州サンフェルナンド出身のグループ。60年代に米国に侵攻してきた英国のビート・グループの影響をモロに受け、テープ逆回転や奇妙なエフェクトなどサイケデリックな意匠を施したサウンドを鳴らした。なかでもローリング・ストーンズの影響は顕著で、１stアルバムではストーンズのエンジニアを務めたD.ハッシンジャーをわざわざプロデュースに迎えたほど。あまたいるこの手のグループのなかでも、ポップなテクスチャーが印象的だ。
