    The Azusa Planeジ・アズサ・プレーン

    これまでに数え切れないほど多くの作品をリリースしてきたAzusa Planeは 10枚目の公式アルバムを出した時点でレコーディングを停止する というユニークな方針を掲げて95年に活動を開始、ギターの競演や大音響のドラム・サウンドを繰り出してきた。彼らがリリースした多くの作品はシングル曲やコンピレーション・アルバムへの参加が多いため 非公式 ということで、まだまだその10枚目という期限は来そうにない。幻想的なAzusa Planeの作品では一見まるで関連性のないサウンドが組み合わされ、うっとりとさせるような、また時として調子はずれに聞こえるアコースティック・サウンド、また聴覚を逆なでするようなサウンドを作り出している。
