Silkwormシルクワーム
ティム・ミジェット（b&vo）、アンドリュー・コーエン（g&vo）、マイケル・ダルキスト（dr）、ジョエル・フェルプス（g&vo）の４人組。87年から地元モンタナで活動を始め、90年初頭にシアトルに移る。94年に、アルバム『Libertine』をリリースするが、これを最後にジョエルが脱退。その後は、残りの３人で活動を開始する。剥き出しのノイジー・ギターと、感情が爆発する寸前のどこか煮え切らなさのあるヴォーカルが、荒削りと拙さの中間でアンダーグラウンド・ムードを形成している。それは、どんなに暴れても、どんなに怪我をしても、まったく意に介さない子供の無邪気さに似ている。
