    Robert Wilkinsロバート・ウィルキンス

    ローリング・ストーンズがカヴァーした「Prodigal Son（放蕩息子）」（原曲のタイトルは「That's No Way to Get Along」）の作者として有名な戦前ブルース・マン。ミシシッピ・デルタの出身で、メンフィスを拠点に活動する。
    その特徴は、全てを達観し切ったかのような穏やかなヴォーカルと、複雑なフィンガー・ピッキングによるギター・プレイ。軽妙洒脱ともいえるスタイルは同時代のブルース・マンの中でも非常にユニークな存在だった。
    30年代より聖職者の道に入り、戦後はゴスペルの作品を残している。
