    自らを「オランダで１番ハッピーなハッピーハードコア・ガバ・アクト」と称するパーティ・アニマルズは、エネルギー全開のサウンドでダンスフロアに火をつける。４人（時には６人になる）のハードコア集団は「オレたち、歌やダンスはできないんだよね。ただブーブーわめいたり、hakkuh（ガバのダンス・スタイル）してるだけ」だと悪びれることもなく公言している。そのサウンドは強烈にキャッチーで、激しいエクスタシーを感じさせるリズムとヨーロッパ的なシンセ・サウンド、そして荒れ狂ったヴォーカル・サンプルが一緒くたになって爆発する——といったもの。テクノヘッズの世界的ヒット「I Wanna Be a Hippy」でサポートを務めた後、すぐに結成されたこのハッピー・ガバ・グループ。90年代後半には数々のビデオ＆ミュージック・アウォードをゲットしたり、ビデオ・クリップや映画、テレビショーに出演したりと、一躍ヨーロッパにおけるメディアの寵児となった。
