    Paramoreパラモア

    ヘイリー・ウィリアムズ（vo）、ジョシュ・ファロ（g）、ザック・ファロ（dr）、ジェレミー・デイヴィス（b）、テイラー・ヨーク（g）から成るナッシュビル出身の５人組ロック・バンド。04年、ヘイリーがジョシュとザックに学校で出会い、後にジェレミーが加わり、結成された。05年に、フォール・アウト・ボーイやレス・ザン・ジェイクが所属するインディペンデント・レーベル＜フュエルド・バイ・ラーメン＞の社長であるジョン・ジャニックの目に留まり、デビュー・アルバム『オール・ウィ・ノウ・イズ・フォーリング』をリリース。

    06年には、シンプル・プランをはじめとする数々のバンドとツアーに明け暮れ、着々とアメリカでの知名度を拡大し、ヨーロッパや日本にもツアーで訪れている。07年９月、２ndアルバム『ライオット！』に収録されている「ミザリー・ビジネス」の大ヒットにより、遂に全米でブレイクを果たす。08年には、社会現象が起こるほどの大ヒットを飛ばした映画『トワイライト』のオリジナル・サウンドトラックに収録された新曲「ディコード〜恋の暗号」がリード・シングルとなり、200万枚を超えるセールスを記録した。

    09年夏、『SUMMER SONIC 09』のメイン・ステージで迫力あるライヴ・パフォーマンスを披露。そして10月には、グリーン・デイ、マイ・ケミカル・ロマンスを手掛けているロブ・カヴァロをプロデューサーに迎えた３rdアルバム『ブラン・ニュー・アイズ』を発表。本作は、前述した「ディコード〜恋の暗号」が収められており、２年間サポート・ギタリストを務めていたテイラーが正式加入した勝負作となっている。
