    スコットランド出身のニール・ランドストラムは、UKのレーベル＜PEACE FROG＞からのデビュー・アルバム『ブラウン・マイ・オーガスト』（95年）で一気に注目を集めることに。ブリープ・テクノとアシッド・ハウスをかけ合わせ、ヘンタイ度を10倍増しにしたファンキーなダンス・トラックを放出したのである。そのビョンビョンと跳ねまわるサイン波が鼓膜に猛烈な振動を与えるブリープ・ファンクの評判は、地球上のアンダーグラウンド・テクノ・シーンを駆け巡り、DJ／クラブ・チャートを瞬く間に席巻した。また、クリスチャン・ヴォーゲルやトビアス・シュミットらと共謀してさらなるクレイジーなエレクトロニック音楽を追求していた彼は、自らのレーベル＜SCANDINAVIA＞を設立し、活動の拠点をN.Y.へと移す。そしてヘンタイ度にいっそうの磨きをかけた、破壊的なクラッシー・エレクトロ・サウンドを開拓したのである。
    そのマッドな創作意欲は音楽だけにとどまることなく、近頃はゲーム・ソフトの開発にまで着手しているとか……。
