    Mississippi Sheiksミシシッピ・シークス

    30年代に南部一帯で人気を博したエンターテインメント集団。ボー、ロニー、サムのチャットマン兄弟とウォルター・ヴィンセントからなる、フィドルを入れたストリングス・バンドの形態をとる。30〜35年までに80曲近い録音を残しているが、ブルースにとどまらずホウカム・ナンバー／民謡／流行歌／バラッド／ダンス・チューン……など、何でもござれの非常にヴァラエティに富んだ演奏を聴かせた。
