最初のキャリアは、モリッシーのライヴのオープニング・アクトとか。それがキッカケとなり＜アトランティック・レコード＞と契約締結。94年にアルバム『Massive Blur』でデビューを果たす。この作品は評論家筋から高い評価を獲得した。翌95年には２nd『Willing To Wait』を発表。以降、コンスタントに作品をリリースしている。近年は、耳障りの良いコンテンポラリーな味わいのアダルト・ロックを得意としているようだ。
