    アクの強いグループが多いことで知られ、ヘロ・ベンダーズやダヴ・ナルコティック・システムを輩出したことでも有名なＫレーベル。95年にワシントンD.C.で結成されたメイク・アップも、このインディー・レーベルの所属である。彼らは、パンク／ガレージからゴスペルまでを吸収し、ひとつのフォーマットに収まらない方向性を呈示。シンプルなギターが鳴り響くなか、ソウルやゴスペルといったルーツ・ミュージックをとりまぜたヴォーカル・スタイルが相乗し、個性的な楽曲を仕上げている。
