    ギタリスト、ソングライター、プロデューサーとしての顔をもつキース・サイクス。彼はジミー・バフェット、ジェリー・ジェフ・ウォーカー、トッド・スナイダーなどのプロジェクトに参加したというキャリアをもつ。メンフィス出身とあって、古くから親しんだと思われるブルースやスワンプが、彼の音楽性において大きな割合を占めており、楽曲にもストレートに反映されている。大別すると一般的に彼の音楽は、カントリー・ミュージックとして括られてしまうのだろうが、どちらかと言うとザ・バンドやザ・バーズをリスペクトする近年のオルタナ・カントリー・バンド（ザ・ジェイホークスやウィルコ）などに近い印象だ。アーシーな香りとポップ性を程好くブレンドしたナンバーを一聴すれば、この手の音楽に対する「泥臭い」といった先入観をくつがえしてくれるに違いない。
