    In the Nurseryイン・ザ・ナーサリー

    KliveとNigel Humberstoneの双子によって結成されたイン・ザ・ナーサリーは、80年代の初めから心に残る大作を発表してきた。初期作品はインダストリアル・ダンスを暴力的に取り上げたものだったが、アーティストとして成長するにつれ、映画のサウンドトラックのような趣を持つように（彼らは実際、映画『An Ambush of Ghosts』と『The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari』に音楽を提供している）。イン・ザ・ナーサリーはおもにエレクトロニックな楽器を用いり、複雑なオーケストラ・サウンドを披露。言葉のサンプリングが曲の中で這い回り、不気味なナレーションの役割を果たす。彼らの音楽は重厚で不気味なホラー映画を彷彿とさせる。
