北欧の強国スウェーデン出身のメロディック・パワー・メタル・バンド。現在、メタル界のブライテスト・ホープとして、高い注目を集めている。メンバーは、ピーター・スンデル（vo）、ペア・スヴェンソン（vo）、アンダース・リドホルム（b&g&key）、オーラ・カールソン（g）、クリスチャン・スンデル（dr）の５人から成る。01年、『ザ・ブック・オヴ・ハウ・トゥ・メイク・イット』でデビュー。北欧特有の“泣き”のフレイヴァーと抜群のテクニックに裏打ちされたヘヴィネスがギュッと詰まった傑作として、日本のメロディック・メタル・ファンの間で大きな支持を獲得した。02年６月には、２枚目のフル・アルバム『ヴュー・フロム・ザ・トップ』をリリース。北欧様式美が全編に渡り炸裂する意欲作だ。
