アップルズ・イン・ステレオやオリバー・トレマー・コントロールなどを輩出する＜エレファント６＞。前述のバンドに続くセカンド・ウェイヴといえるのがこのエルフ・パワーだ。チープでローファイでレトロなポップ感はこのバンドでも満喫できるが、それ以上に無邪気な雰囲気に思わず顔がほころぶ。アンドリュー・リーガー（男）とローラ・カーター（女）の２人によるたる〜い脱力ヴォーカルが、そんなほのぼのとした空気をよりいっそう増幅し、お茶目なポップ・ソングに仕上げているのだ。そして、まるで“妖精の魔法”のように、リスナーを陶酔させてくれるのである。
