    自らのルーツを、ガーシュイン／コール・ポーター／ポール・マッカートニー／エルヴィス・コステロだと明かすシンガー・ソングライター。なるほど、99年のデビュー作『Luxury Of Time』を聴けば、アメリカの古典的な作家のもつ気品と、英国を代表するロック・ソングライターに影響を受けた高湿度のメロディの合体した音楽性には、そんな種明かしも大いに頷ける。しかし、決して懐古主義者というわけではなく、01年の『Mine & Yours』ではプロデュースにファウンテインズ・オブ・ウェインのアダム・シュレシンジャーを迎え、より今風のプロダクツで勝負してみせた。どちらかというとリイシューCDを買い漁るロック・オヤジよりも、若いパワー・ポップ・ファンにこそ聴いてもらいたいアーティストだ。
