    英コヴェントリー出身のジェームス・ミットン（James Mitton）のソロ・プロジェクト。アシッド・ハウス／アシッド・テクノに魅入られて、80年代後半から音楽制作を始めた彼は、94年にはLTJブケムやDJファビオに触発され、ドラムンベースに移行していった。
    レーベル＜MOVING SHADOW＞からESSENCE OF AURA名義（こちらは３人から成るプロジェクト）でシングルなども発表しているが、Carlito名義としてはソウル／ジャズ・フィーリング全開の「Heaven」「Fall Down」あたりがなんといっても秀作。スピリチュアルで、長く聴き続けられるドラムンベースとして大推薦。
