    Cam'Ronキャムロン

    ハーレムで生まれたキャムロン（akaキラー・キャム）はマンハッタンの高校のバスケット・クラブに所属していた。そこで知り合ったのが、のちの＜BAD BOY＞の看板ラッパー、メイス（akaマーダー・メイスaka舞い戻り牧師ラッパー。キャムロンとのちにビーフ状態になってしまう）である。その後彼はテキサスの小さな大学に進学するが、すぐにドロップアウトし、N.Y.に舞い戻ってくる。地元でヤクの売人をしつつラップを始めたキャムロンはすぐにその頭角を現し、アン・リヴェラのレーベル＜UNTERTAINMENT＞と契約を結ぶ。
    98年にメイスやアッシャーをフィーチャーした楽曲を含むデビュー・アルバム『コンフェッションズ・オブ・ファイア』をドロップ。また00年には『S.D.E.』を、02年にはジェイ・Z率いる＜ROC-A-FELLA＞から『カム・ホーム・ウィズ・ミー』（ジャスト・ブレイズ制作の「オー・ボーイ」がハイライト曲だ）をリリース。04年には同レーベルから４ｔｈアルバム『パープル・ヘイズ』も発表した。さらに03年には自身のクルー＝ザ・ディプロマッツのアルバム『ディプロマティック・イミュニティ』も発売している。
