    60年代後期から70年代初頭にかけてブームとなった、ジャーマン・ロック・バンドのひとつ。70年代初期に発表された作品は、多数のタブラやオルガン、フルートなどをフィーチャーしたフリーク・ロックの手本として、一部で語り継がれている。憂鬱な気分を増長させんばかりのギター・ワークとヴォーカル、そして、そこに奇怪なイメージを植えつけるハモンド・オルガンの音色。そのアンサンブルが、人間の精神の奥深くに眠る狂気を顕現している。また、99年にリリースされたボックス・セット『Kraut＆Space Rock』には彼らの貴重な音源が収録されている。
