    Black Rebel Motorcycle Clubブラック・レベル・モーターサイクル・クラブ

    サンフランシスコ発、ネオ・サイケの至宝、ブラック・レベル・モーターサイクル・クラブ（略称：B.R.M.C.）。95年にロバート・ターナー（b&g&key&vo）、ピーター・ヘイズ（b&g&key&vo）が地元の高校で出会い、意気投合。98年にイギリス出身のニック・ジャゴー（dr）が加わり、ライヴ活動を開始する（ちなみに当時のバンド名はエレメンツ）。その後、01年にイギリスでリリースされたEP「Whatever Happened To my Rock 'n' Roll（Punk Song）」が高い評価を得て、インディ・ロック復権の旗頭として人気を博す。
    ジーザス・アンド・メリー・チェインやマイ・ブラッディ・ヴァレンタインを彷彿とさせるサイケデリアを有しながら、ロックンロールの焦燥感／枯渇感を内包するガレージ・サウンドが魅力の彼ら。02年に１stアルバム『ブラック・レベル・モータサイクル・クラブ登場』をリリースする。
