    “うた心”あるデス・メタルを奏でる、スウェーデン出身の５人臭、もとい５人衆。抜群の演奏技術による猛烈殺戮デス・サウンドの体を成しながらも、メロディックなギター・ワーク、ドラマ性を携えた曲展開を随所にちりばめたまったく独自のへヴィ・メタルを展開し、高い人気を獲得していった。90年、EP「Gardens of Grif」でデビュー。95年にリリースされた『スローター・オブ・ザ・ソウル』でキャリアの頂点を迎えるが、後に解散の道をたどる。なお、アンダース・ビョーラー（g）とジョナス・ビョーラー（b）は現在、人気デス・バンド、ホーンテッドにて活躍中だ。
