    トーキング・ヘッズ、トム・トム・クラブ、フランク・ザッパ、デヴィッド・ボウイ、大沢誉志幸、坂本龍一、YMO、ナイン・インチ・ネイルズ、マイク・オールドフィールド、ポール・サイモン……。これらは、ロック界随一の超絶変態ギタリスト、もしくは再編キング・クリムゾンの正式メンバー、エイドリアン・ブリューがレコーディングに携わったアーティストである。うーん、実に多種多様かつ広範囲だ。常に強烈な匂いを発しながらも、奇想天外な動物的センスでもって楽曲を高次元へと導く——という類稀な手腕を買われてのことだろう。また、ソロ・アーティストとしても注目したい。82年発表の１st『ローン・ライノウ』、84年の２nd『Twang Bar King』、95年の『ザ・ギター・アズ・オーケストラ』などで聴ける、アクの強い馬鹿テク・キテレツ・プレイは、本当に「前人未踏」かつ「唯一無比」だ。
