    デス・メタルの歴史を大きく塗り変え、ブラック・メタルという新しいジャンルを創り出したこのバンドが結成されたのは、93年だ。同系ジャンルの他バンドと比べると、それほど個性的とは言えないが、サウンドから感じられる恐怖は天下一品。地獄の底から聴こえてくるような激しく怒り狂ったヴォーカルの叫び声、そして耳に突き刺さるギターは、爆発寸前の火山のような不穏な気配を漂わせている。冷たく荒涼とした世界観を容赦なくぶち撒ける彼ら——その邪悪なまでの怒りと復讐心は、地団駄を踏んで悔しがるクリスチャンたちをまるであざ笑うかのように、世界中に蔓延し続けている。
