    カナダ・トロントを拠点に活動するディープ・ハウス・クリエイター。A:xus は、Abacus名義による「The Relics Ep」で94年にデビューを果たす。デトロイト・シーンとの交流が深く、デリック・メイ主宰の＜Fragile＞レーベルからも「Abacus Ep」（94年）をリリースしている。テクノ／ファンク／アシッド・ジャズの要素を取り入れ、フューチャリスティックなエレクトロからジャジーな女性ヴォーカルものまで幅広いサウンドを展開。99年にはシカゴの＜Guidance＞より１stアルバム『サウンド・トラック・フォー・ライフ』を発表した。アトモスフェリックなジャズと無重力ヴォーカルが一体となったダンス・トラックは、DJ／クラウドの熱狂的な支持を得ている。
