    The Dillinger Escape Planザ・ディリンジャー・エスケイプ・プラン

    97年にニュージャージーで結成された、ブライアン・ベノート（g）、アダム・ドール（b）、ドミトリ・ミナカキス（vo）、クリス・ペニー（dr）、ベンジャミン・ウェイマン（g）による５人組。いわゆるデス声によるメタル志向のハード・コアを展開する。ハード・コアというと、わりと演奏が荒削りな印象があるが、これでもかというほどの超絶テクニックを駆使してサウンドを構築する彼らは、そこいらの稚拙なフュージョン・バンドを凌駕している。99年にアルバム『Calculating Infinity』をリリース、00年には、ワープド・ツアーにも一部参加した。
