Sweepスウィープ
1984年２月10日生まれ、横浜市出身。子供の頃から音楽に囲まれた環境で育ち、R&B／ソウル／ヒップホップ／AORなど様々な音楽に影響を受ける。中学・高校時代に夢中になったバスケットボールに因んで“Sweep（スウィープ）”と名乗り、 ラッパーとして東京・横浜のクラブを中心に本格的な音楽活動をスタート。このアーティスト名は、NBAのプレー・オフでの全勝を意味し、音楽シーンのトップを目指す気概を込めたネーム。以後、ラップとメロディを歌うスタイルを経て、シンガーに転向。
06年12月、＜フォーライフミュージック＞より、１stシングル「Get a dream」でメジャー・デビュー。その後もコンスタントにリリースを重ね、フィーチャリング・ヴォーカルとしてSo'Fly、光上せあらの楽曲に参加。渋谷club asia、二子玉川pinknoiseでのレギュラー・イベントをはじめ各地でライヴ活動を展開。09年８月には１stフル・アルバム『I'm READY』をリリース。自らの実体験をもとに書かれた歌詞とメロディー・センスを兼ね備え、艶やかな歌声と豊かな歌唱力で表現する実力派シンガーだ。
