Steve Hackettスティーヴ・ハケット
ピーター・ガブリエルやフィル・コリンズを輩出した名門プログレッシヴ・グループ、ジェネシスのギタリスト。クラシックを始め、ジャズ／フュージョン／ロックと、さまざまなエッセンスを内包したテクニカルなプレイが持ち味だ。グループ在籍時よりソロ活動を行っていたが、ジェネシス脱退後の70年代後半より、本格的にソロ・アーティストとしての道を歩み始める。作品ごとに異なったサウンドにアプローチ——ある時はAOR風、ある時はニュー・エイジ、そしてまたある時はアコースティック・メインのクラシックと、その異才ぶりを発揮した。
80年代には元イエス〜エイジアのスティーヴ・ハウとGTRというグループを結成し、話題を呼んだ。
