    MAIN STREETメイン・ストリート

    76年に野田敏、渡辺三希雄を中心に結成される。地元熊本と博多を中心とした精力的な活動を通してカルト的な人気を博し、アナーキーの藤沼伸一や元ボ・ガンボスのKYONといった多くのミュージシャンから熱い支持を得る。その後、80年代に入り九州全域に進出、後半には東京に活動の場を移し地道にライブを展開するが、90年に惜しまれながら解散。ひっきりなしに追いかけてくる不安感への反動を感じさせるメッセージ色の濃い歌詞と、ボブ・ディランを彷彿とさせる普遍的なフォーク・ロックは決して色褪せることがない。
