    90年代後期から、にわかに注目を集めた、スウェーデン・ミニマル・テクノ・シーン。その中心的な存在であるアダム・ベイヤーは、96年に＜Planet Rhythm＞からリリースした『Decoded』で一躍、知名度をあげる。その後も、怒涛の勢いでストックホルムの＜Drum Code＞＜Cord Red＞＜Loop＞＜Primate＞といったアンダーグラウンド・レーベルから、硬質でパーカッシヴなダンス・トラックを連発。クールなシャッフル・グルーヴと音の抜けっぷりはDJ／クラウドを虜にした。同郷のカリ・レケブッシュ、ジョエル・ムル、トーマス・クロームらと共に目が離せない要注意人物だ。
